So God ~ sends the rain

My walk wasn’t to be…unless you were a fish, or boat.

Could it have been sent to silence my hurried life,  personal expectations, daily goals,
and to-do lists?

A wonderful early caller waited with an invitation to the Sacred.

Silence seemed to be almost an audible voice beckoning me, calling me.
It was not going to be easily brushed aside…
The unction of The Holy One stirring with A great desire, to shift the tide of my morning.

Grabbing the morning cup, my bible and off to my back porch ~ to listen.

There was something I sensed upon the heart of God ~
Words. . . timely crafted for one who would hear.

A message. Maybe.

Then the Lord called Samuel a third time. So he got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am, for you called me!” Eli then realized that it was the Lord who was calling the boy. So Eli said to Samuel, “Go back and lie down. When he calls you, say, “Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.”
So Samuel went back and lay down in his place.
10 Then the Lord came and stood nearby, calling as he had previously done, “Samuel! Samuel!”
Samuel replied, “Speak, for your servant is listening!” 1 Samuel 3:7-10

Or Simply ~ An invitation for blessing?

How blessed is the one whom You choose and bring near to You to dwell in Your courts.

We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple.  Psalm 65:4.

Oh Father shift the tide of our mornings

“So let us know and become personally acquainted with Him;
let us press on to know and understand fully
the [greatness of the] Lord
[to honor, heed, and deeply cherish Him].

His appearing is prepared
and is as certain  as the dawn,

And He will come to us [in salvation]
like the [heavy] rain, like the spring rain watering the earth.”  Hosea 6:3
