Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
Has it not been told you from the beginning?
Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?

It is HE who sits above the circle of the earth...vs22.

Lift up your eyes on high,
And SEE who has created these things, Who brings out their host by number;
He calls them all by name,

By the greatness of HIS might And the strength of HIS power;
Not one is missing.

Why do you say, O Jacob, And speak, O Israel:
"My way is hidden from the LORD".... Isaiah 40.

Could we all agree that there have been times we felt as though our way has been hidden from God?
Why do you say....My way is hidden from the LORD?  HE who sits above the circle of the earth see's!

July 16, 1999 the media headlines read:
The Day the Music Died - Feb. 3, 1959.

John F. Kennedy, Jr's Piper Saratoga aircraft crashed off the coast of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.

The NTSB determined the crash was caused by:  "The pilot's failure to maintain control of the airplane during a descent over water at night, which was a result of spatial disorientation".

Spatial disorientation:  is the inability to correctly interpret aircraft attitude, altitude or airspeed,
in relation to the Earth or point of reference.
        A condition in which an aircraft pilot's perception of direction does not agree with reality.

Flying in poor weather conditions with low or no visibility the pilot is deprived of an external visual horizon, which is critical to maintaining a correct sense of up and down.

That evening John found himself with no visual horizon, no coastal lights to guide his judgements, not knowing up from down, he plunged his plane into what aviation calls a graveyard spiral, into the dark Atlantic Ocean.

Like a pilot whose plane begins spiraling out of control, Job found himself in the storm of his life.

 "Look, I go forward, but He is not there, And backward, but I cannot perceive Him;
 When He turns to the right hand, I cannot see Him...Job 23:8-9.

The first wave brought what seemed to be total financial ruin and the second the lose of his family.
One could certainly understand the rush of emotions and thoughts which bombarded Job's heart.

Job's perception became clouded by his feelings.  Unable to see with his natural eye
a new horizon, he lost all sense of true reality.

Instrument Rating Certification:
Kennedy did not possess an instrument rating which is essential for flying in difficult weather with
no visibility.  A pilot who enters such conditions will quickly lose spatial orientation if there has been no training in flying with reference to instruments.
Instrument rating certification requires more logged hours and experience.

As a believer the training and discipline of preparing for the storms of life are essential if we are going to fulfill our dreams and purpose for our life.

Soaring to new heights comes from a disciplined life in the word.
Trusting in His promises and committing to believing God no matter the dark nights or storms clouds we encounter.  His promises are REALITY!

Job took his eyes off his situation and put them back upon TRUTH (Instrument panel).
Verse 10;  But He knows the way I take;

But those who wait upon the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary
They shall walk and not faint.  Isa. 40:31
