Romans 15:4  NIV   "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope."

Have you accepted the challenge this Christmas season and (all year long)? Share the gift of hope with those who have misplaced it or have never known real hope.  Ask God to put hopeless people in your path during this holiday season so you can share Jesus our hope.

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. 1 Pet. 3:15 NIV.

The Waterbrook Radio: The Gift of Hope.    (Listen to program).

Whatever situation you find yourself in at this moment, there is hope!  You may not be able to see it or feel it, but it is there for you.
Real hope is only found in knowing Jesus Christ.
Romans 15:4 says that through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope
You might have felt as though you have lost all hope, but could it be you have only misplaced it?
Often in good times God's word gets pushed to the side giving invitation for doubts and fears to make their way into our thinking.   Psa. 119 tells us there is Life In The Word of GOD.

Psalms 39:7 "But now, Lord what do I look for? My hope is in You."
Psalms 42:11 " Why are you downcast, O my soul?  Why so disturbed within me?  Put your hope
in God. "

One definition for hope is: To look forward to with confidence or expectation.
Jer. 29:11 NLT  "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord.  "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."  Beloved, if God be for you, who can be against you?
Put your hope in God.

Keep a journal and write out these scriptures. Meditate upon them and God will write them on your heart.  Find hope through God's word for you.

Rms. 5:5  "And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us."

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Rms. 15:13
