"Come, let us return to the Lord; That we may live in His sight.
Let us know, Let us Pursue the knowledge of the Lord.
His going forth is established as the MORNING;He will Come to us like the rain,
Like the latter and former rain to the earth." Hosea 6:1-3
I caught just a few minutes of the news this morning, as Hurricane Irene threatens to bring winds and waves of devastating proportion to a city who never sleeps.
Just a thought: IF we never sleep will we ever know the power found in the morning?
Something happens in the Morning according to the Lord;
* Satisfaction! Exchange of hungry for fullness.
"Oh SATISFY us early in the morning with you unfailing love,
that I might sing all day long.
The bonus round beloved, is a New Song.
A New sound coming from your heart!
Fresh bread delivered right to our door every morning... Jesus who is the bread from heaven will satisfy the longings of our heart. Today's word!
* Joy Comes! The promise: though it had been a long night of sorrow, there is a New Day dawning.
Could it be in the morning that "THE LIGHT" begins to show you a new and living way?
* Mercies Are New! A Fresh Start to the rest of your life.
* Waves of GRACE...have the power to take you through the storm!
And oceans of despair are swallowed up by a Grace that abounds more and more.
A few days ago I was finishing up a morning walk, when my thoughts went to the ocean where we would vacation once a year.
If you turned your back to the ocean at times some of those
waves would crash over and sweep your feet right out from under you.
Paul spoke of God's abounding grace that has the power and potential to carry us into a whole new day of sufficiency.
My prayer that morning was Father sweep me off my feet today. Carry me where I've not been able to carry myself. Even though the waves may be churning around about me You hold all power in Your hands. And even the winds and the waves are subject to You.
Since I've got you at the beach this morning...The most beautiful shells are found in the MORNING!
Could the secret to a great night sleep be tied to the value you place upon the Morning?
